WHAT KIND OF POWER IS REQUIRED FOR YOUR EQUIPMENT?
When choosing the espresso bar, we need a single outlet on a regular 20 amp circuit. When choosing pourover coffee service in addition to espresso, our kettles require another outlet on a separate 15 or 20 amp circuit. Our extensions can run 100 ft from the outlets. ** If you’re unsure, get in touch with a facilities or grounds person at your event venue — they should be able to help clarify what power is available. **
HOW MUCH SPACE DO YOU NEED TO SETUP?
Our bar takes up a pretty small footprint. Indoors, we ask for about a 10’x10’ square area for our bar and other equipment storage while we are serving. Outside is a little different. Our mobile bar teardrop trailer is about 8’x5’ and can be backed into most scenarios. We then require about 20’x10’ for our entire footprint.
WHAT KIND OF EQUIPMENT DO YOU BRING TO AN EVENT?
On our espresso bar, we have a beautiful La Marzocco GS/3 single group machine and a Mazzer espresso grinder. Pourover service utilizes a Baratza Vario-W weight-based grinder and Chemex coffee brewers. We absolutely can discuss using a different brew method such as Beehouse pourovers or Aeropress brewers.
DO YOU SERVE ALCOHOL?
We do not have a license to sell beer, wine, or liquor remotely.
SO, DO YOU JUST SERVE AT WEDDINGS?
No way! We are able to cater your office party, private brunch, conference, you name it!
HOW FAR WILL YOU TRAVEL?
Our license allows us to serve anywhere inside of Wisconsin. Anywhere outside of Wisconsin, we’ll need to discuss options.
HOW MUCH TIME DO YOU NEED TO SETUP YOUR EQUIPMENT?
We need roughly one hour before and after your event. This will ensure that our gear can get settled in and come up to temperature. No, you are not charged for these hours of setup, just hours of actual service — good question!
WHY DO YOU BRING YOUR OWN WATER?
Water is very important not only to us, but to our equipment, and the overall taste of your drink. Since we were not interested in making any quality sacrifices, we bring the same reverse osmosis water to events as we have in our Monroe Street location.
YOUR TRAILER LOOKS PRETTY NEAT. WHAT’S THE STORY THERE?
The teardrop trailer we use was custom built in Central Wisconsin by RV builders Retro Ride Teardrops. They were kind enough to build it exactly to our specs — perfect for serving out from the back galley area.
